Five Spiced Turkey Strips

430 grams turkey strips
2 teaspoons Chinese five spice
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
100mls cream
1-2 tablespoons coconut oil or peanut oil

Serves 2 adults


Heat the oil in a large pan on a medium to high heat. Add the turkey and stir well for 2 minutes. Add the spices and reduce heat a little. Let the turkey cook fully over about 10 minutes and stir regularly. When turkey is cooked through add the cream and stir well. Turn off heat and leave the meat sit in the cream for a couple of minutes before serving. For a light meal serve with a side of raw vegetables and a drizzle of dressing (check out my french dressing in the blog).
