Turkey Strips ... Perfect Healthy Protein Snack!
If you're like most of us getting away from the sandwich when filling lunchboxes is a challenge. Well here is an easy and tasty option. Turkey strips. They are delicious cold as a snack (with a dip of natural yogurt and dijon mustard is great!) or you can add them to wholemeal pasta or rice with a vegetable like peas to create a simple hot meal for the flask. They also make a much healthier filler than processed meats for the sandwich!
I coated turkey strips in a shake of tandoori spices, smoked paprika and garlic, then placed in a frying pan with a little toasted sesame oil and cooked on a medium heat for about 10-15 minutes stirring regularly. Great hot off the pan on top of a big salad or cold as a snack for lunchboxes.
Try mixing a little dijon mustard in natural live yogurt as a dip - wonderful!
