As a Health Coach, my work with clients spans various areas, including nutrition, physical fitness & strength, mental well-being and stress management. I tailor my health coaching to meet each client’s unique needs, ensuring that the changes and habits we implement are both effective and enduring. 

Many of my clients come to me after years of yo-yo dieting, burdened by a mindset filled with negative, self-sabotaging thoughts that have gradually eroded their confidence and self-esteem. For these clients my approach focuses on changing thinking, behaviours and habits. I don’t simply give clients a food and exercise plan and send them off, I work with them to challenge sabotaging thoughts, develop a positive mindset and create and cement habits for a healthy lifestyle and long-term weight management.  

Success for my clients isn’t about “measuring their worth” on the scales each week. Instead, it’s about experiencing the benefits of improved body composition, increased energy and better health. I’m happy when my clients leave feeling confidence in making healthy choices with a strong positive mindset and a happier, healthier outlook on life.

Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) is one of the most highly researched and effective form of talk therapy which focuses on correcting people’s distorted thinking. Changing your unhelpful thinking to feel better emotionally, leads to behaving in a more productive way to reach your goals.

During our one-hour consultation, we conduct an in-depth assessment of your current eating, exercise, and lifestyle habits. Together, we will explore your health goals and develop customised nutrition and exercise plans tailored specifically to your needs. To further support you on your journey to better health, Alva offers a post-consultation review of a three-day photo food diary. This valuable follow-up helps you build confidence in your food and meal choices, ensuring you're well-equipped to enhance your health, boost your energy levels, and optimise body composition. All consultations are followed up with an email detailing action points discussed with clients.

    • 1 x One-Hour Initial Consultation with follow up action points emailed to client

    • 7 x 30-Minute Tailored Sessions - Each of these personalised sessions is designed to address your unique needs and goals. Following each session, you’ll receive a detailed email summarising the key action points discussed. These could include personalised nutrition guidance, fitness plans, strength and conditioning workouts, CBT tools and techniques, and stress management strategies. These tailored sessions ensure that every aspect of your plan is customised to support your journey effectively and help you achieve your health and wellness objectives.

      Daily Support: Stay connected and motivated with daily contact via WhatsApp throughout the 10 weeks. This continuous support ensures you have real-time assistance and accountability for your food choices and daily exercise.

      Photo Food Diary Review: Alva reviews your photo food diaries and exercise records, providing you with feedback and guidance to keep you on track and motivated.

      Motivational Accountability: The daily review of your food and exercise choices, combined with personalised feedback, helps to drive your motivation and supports you throughout your journey.

      Nutrition Guide: Receive Alva’s exclusive Nutrition Guide, featuring a seven-day meal plan with a shopping list and over 30 healthy recipes to simplify your meal planning and support your nutritional goals.
