Toasted Spiced Nuts

Here's a perfect tasty snack, addition to your trail mix of raw nuts, topping for a salad and .... a lovely accompaniment to your pre dinner drink!

Toasted spiced nuts

2 tablespoons of olive oil

1/2 teaspoon of ground coriander

1/2 teaspoon of cumin

1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper

1/4 teaspoon of sugar

A good pinch of rock salt

1/2 teaspoon of freshly ground pepper

100 grams raw walnuts or cashews

100 grams of raw almonds

100 grams of raw hazelnuts

100 grams of raw pecan nuts

Heat oil and add spices, cook for 5-10 seconds before adding nuts, stir for 2-3 minutes until nuts brown. Remove from heat and let cool before transferring to an airtight container.
