Rye and Caraway Turkey Goujons
I just love these hot or cold the next day. Brilliant protein snack food or add a load of vegetables and enjoy as a main Ingredients
3 turkey breasts (cut into thick strips)
1 egg beaten
2 slices of Biona rye bread (or regular sliced pan for children’s goujons)
1 teaspoon of caraway seeds
Blitz bread and caraway seeds in a processor. Cut turkey into large strips. Dip into egg and then breadcrumbs mixture. Place on baking paper on a baking tray and season with pepper (if desired) and drizzle with olive oil. Bake at 180 for approx. 20 minutes. Serve with a dip of natural yogurt mixed with a little Dijon mustard (and a big salad!).
